7 Maxi dresses to be all kinds of extra for Virgo-season

If you’ve been following me on Pinterest, you might have noticed a sudden flood of dresses coming by. It’s because unbeknownst to me, I sorta kinda started a tradition. Last year I chose to celebrate my birthday in Malta, as I didn’t really saw the point in celebrating my birthday back home. The whole, people are coming over and I have to take care of their foods and drinks isn’t my thing. I’m not a very hospitable person tbh. Can you believe I almost graduated in International Hospitality Management, tho? Anywho, as I’m not feeling that idea I choose to celebrate my birthday on my terms (as anyone should) by going abroad on my birthday. Last year was Malta, and this year it’s London. When I told some people about my trip, they immediately asked me: do you already have a dress? When I went to Malta last year, I got this beautiful off shoulder gown sewn by an old schoolmate of mine and apparently it was to their liking as I’m expected to have …

5 Pink blazer dresses to die for

Almost 2 months ago I attended the wedding of my lovely cousin. I had been looking forward to her wedding for quite some time, but I hadn’t prepared my wardrobe for it. I had no clue what to wear and to be honest, I wasn’t gonna spend too much money on a dress because it would just end in the back of my closet and probably never be worn or even seen again. So, my first idea was to borrow a dress from my sister. Problem is: we have entirely different body types and entirely different tastes. I knew this was a risk, but she has sooooo many clothes. Something had to work out. It didn’t. As always, I ended up looking like Cinderella’s stepsister trying on the glass shoe. Only one of the dresses was a meh, but it wasn’t a full on yasssss. It was a blazer dress in dusty pink. Dusty pink is perfect for my doll-like sister. Not so much for me. The fit was good tho. So we made it …

Photo diary: my getaway as a unicorn

Or as a mermaid, whichever mystical creature floats your boat. But I went to Curacao keeping in mind that I was gonna sparkle like a unicorn. And no less. Why? Because for the past few months I had to look as normal as possible (whatever the hell that means) for job interviews. So I had to refrain from bold and long nails, crazy hair colors or outrageous hairstyles. After being turned down so often, because of my vacation plans (which I totally understand), I felt like I needed to turn my shine on again. How? I told my braidstylist that I wanted a hidden rainbow, and my nailtech that I wanted nails to match my rainbow hair.

I was so ready to go to Curacao and have a great time. Why don’t you take a look at what I did and where I went during my first few days on the island.

Shopping list: Open Back Tops

Last Sunday it was an actual SUNday! Giving me a chance to whip out one of my favorite sweaters. Me feeling myself in this weather, took the chance to snap a pic and obviously posted this on IG. After posting this photo I got the question where I got my sweater from. And honestly I got this sweater 2 (or maybe even 3) years ago from Boohoo.com. But me feeling the need to answer this question on a more positive note, I decided to take it upon myself to find out if there are any similar looking sweaters available now. Which inspired me to make this shopping list of open back tops. So thank you, Quain_trelle, for the inspiration! I hope you’ll find any to your liking! Alright then, let’s get on with the list.
