Shopping list: Open Back Tops

Last Sunday it was an actual SUNday! Giving me a chance to whip out one of my favorite sweaters. Me feeling myself in this weather, took the chance to snap a pic and obviously posted this on IG. After posting this photo I got the question where I got my sweater from. And honestly I got this sweater 2 (or maybe even 3) years ago from Boohoo.com. But me feeling the need to answer this question on a more positive note, I decided to take it upon myself to find out if there are any similar looking sweaters available now. Which inspired me to make this shopping list of open back tops. So thank you, Quain_trelle, for the inspiration! I hope you’ll find any to your liking! Alright then, let’s get on with the list. Photo Diary: My 10-day getaway pt. 1

Some may have already seen some photos go by on Instagram, but for those who didn’t; I have just returned from my 10-day getaway. My main reason for this little trip was to attend International Swimwear Fashion Week(end) that took place March 10-13 on no other than my lovely home island Curaçao. You understand that this was the perfect excuse to combine my  trip to Curaçao with a visit to my mother on Bonaire. If you’re still reading, that means you’re certainly interested in knowing how I spent my days. Join me as I look back at my little touristic journey on Bonaire! Day 1 To tourists this may seem like some yucky green soup with meat and other unknown things floating around. But to me and many other Antilleans this soup called “Jambo” aka ocra soup is LIFE.  I can’t cook this yummy goo and my mom ain’t in Holland often enough for me to enjoy it as much as I’d want to, so I was beyond filled with joy when they took me to a local restaurant …

Tropical Vibes

| Entire outfit: H&M | Ahhh, the delight of being back in my tropical surroundings. No more layers on layers. No more chunky wear that hide all the effort I’ve been doing in the gym (read: little to no effort). No coat to hide my outfit I put effort into. The only coat I’m wearing these days is branded El Sol made of Vitamin D. I genuinely can’t properly put in words how amazing I feel, but I could show it through my outfit. Wearing my favorite skirt and my new sneakers I went out on day one and found the opportunity to take some pictures while savoring the tropical vibes.
