My beloved readers, sorry for the looooong wait. I know I should’ve posted weeks ago, but…No excuses. I should’ve posted this weeks ago, I didn’t. Period. BUT, I’m here now. And it’s Thursday, so I’ll just make it a throwback Thursday post.
I’ll be taking you to one of the most memorable days of my life: my sister’s wedding, where I held my first public speech, my niece stole the show and I caught the bouquet (YES BIH). Mind you, today it’s the two-month anniversary of her wedding! Also we’re going sailing with my best friend, going BTS of my beloved partner in crime’s photoshoot and you’re gonna meet some of my family members.
For those who are wondering: yes, I really did keep my rainbow hair. To my sister’s dismay. It’s not that she disliked the hair, she just had a vision of all her bridesmaids sporting our natural crowns. But (!!!) I did exchange my unicorn nails for something more fitting. My family was trying to downplay my nails, tho. But my nailstylist in Curacao was having none of it. Nah, she worked it and made them shine! Literally.
Okay, enough talking. On to the photos.
Warning: I couldn’t choose from the wedding photo’s, so there’s a little wedding overload. Just so you know. But if it becomes too much, you can just scroll on to the rest.
End of the wedding photos! On to the rest!
The final photo was my last place of stay. Which was at the Hilton hotel. To you, it might be just another pretty beach photo. To me, it was the perfect closure of a very relaxing, yet intense getaway. Those weeks offered me a chance to focus on self-awareness, but also did it ignite a fire that I’d been missing. That fire became stronger and I can’t wait to share my future plans with you. But you’ll see…
Hope you enjoyed my series. And stay tuned for my next upcoming (inspirational) posts.
I could not believe this is all you, I know in my head you were still Joelletje ☺️ : Amazed, in awe, in admiration and most of all respect to you! Marvellous young woman: Great job, what an inspiration you are! Bless you and I’m tuned for more to follow!
